Sri kamakshi amman temple
This temple is situated in Mylampavely and is managed by a private entity that also engages itselves in orphanages and many other charities. This temple is well known for its organic vegetable production. Also, several flour gardens and organic fruit orchards are managed by them. This temple is visited by several devotees every week and the vegetarian restaurant established within the temple premises is one of the best vegetarian meal spots in Batticaloa.
Sri lakshmi Narayana perumal kovil
This temple, which is a private property, is well managed and maintained. This is situated in an accessible location closer to Nilaveli. The central deity of this temple is Lord Vishnu of Hinduism who is known to be worshiped for safekeeping and financial well being of people. This temple is visited by a lot of local and foreign travelers throughout the year.
